Abstract: In this paper, with collected and compressed the position information of the three GPS receivers installed on the source ship, the compressed information is pushed to the land and sea joint detection command center used the Beidou short message to realize the real-time monitoring of the speed and heading of the ship. The real-time heading of the ship calculated based on the three GPS receiver information helps to grasp the heading of the ship in the fixed point operation accurately for the problems of the average heading calculated in the past two times before and after the use of the real-time heading. The use of Beidou short message with China’s independent intellectual property rights, the safety, reliability and stability of the system are greatly improved. In addition, the command center can check in real time whether the ship is operating according to the preset survey line, the preset speed and heading, which effectively ensures the ship under the command center monitors and improves the risk control capability and safe production.
